CERTIFICATION OF ACCURACY (CTA)
In Italy, asseveration is the only practice that gives legal value to a translation according to current legislation.
On the contrary, in other countries, the conformity of translated texts can be certified personally by the translator enrolled in a special professional register, without the need for sworn certification.

Authorities and bodies in these countries, e.g. the United Kingdom, the United States of America and other English-speaking countries, simply require that a certification issued by the translator or translation agency be attached to the submitted document. The documents that most often require certified translation – not to be confused with sworn or legalised translation – are diplomas and degrees, certificates, tax returns and CVs.
In these cases, Traduzioni STR issues a declaration of conformity of the translation with stamp and signature to certify that the document has been translated by a qualified and experienced professional translator, and that it is complete and faithful to the original.
However, it is always advisable to contact the destination authority or body in the foreign country to check the type of certification required, as the rules on the submission of documents and their translations may vary.
