Our journey started in the early 1980s

Established in 1984, Traduzioni STR srl was the first company to operate in the Trentino region with the aim of introducing the professionalism of translation and interpretation language services to the local market. Today, as in its early days, after 40 years of activity it remains the leading company in its sector in Trentino-South Tyrol, in terms of structure, number of professional partners, and language combinations covered.

Over the years, the company has consolidated its position in the Triveneto area, registering with the Bolzano and Venice Chambers of Commerce and expanding its network of customers throughout Italy and abroad.

With a staff of seven members, Traduzioni STR is able to handle large multilingual and multi-sectoral projects while maintaining the spirit of a small artisanal business.

Management

Antonella De Iorio 

SOLE DIRECTOR 

Degree in languages, founder and sole director, she has been the soul of the company for 40 years. She is in charge of coordinating the various activities, new projects, the administration and in general the running of the business with all that goes with it.
The enthusiasm of the early days has remained unchanged, but she is aware of the need to invest in a young and motivated staff, equipped to face the new challenges of a 3.0 company.

Front office

The front office is run by Patrizia and Martina, who take care of the day-to-day management of translation and interpretation projects and are the nerve centre of the production process chain leading to a high-quality end product.

Patrizia 

Project manager 

With a degree in languages, executive assistant and project manager, in addition to customer and supplier relations she follows the complex market of tenders and conventions, a sector that is gaining in importance.

Martina 

Project manager 

Degree in languages, South Tyrolean and consequently bilingual, project manager and with a flair for interpersonal relations, she looks after the German-speaking market and the many private customers who come to us. Social media have no secrets for her.

Back office

By back office we mean the technical department, the one that actively handles the actual translation and revision work and to which we owe our quality and compliance with the standards with which we are certified: UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 17100:2017. Elisa, Sara and Massimo are also responsible for the selection and verification of new linguists.

Elisa 

TRANSLATOR  

With a degree in law and a master's degree in translation specialising in the legal field, she mainly deals with requests from law firms and notary offices that turn to our company and with sworn and legalised translation requests. Always passionate about foreign languages, during her academic career she spent long periods abroad, particularly in Vienna and Brussels.straniere, durante il suo percorso accademico ha trascorso lunghi periodi all’estero, in particolare a Vienna e a Bruxelles.

Sara 

TRANSLATOR  

A graduate in translation and interpretation, she translates and supervises much of the work that comes across her desk. The skills acquired during her studies lead her to approach new technologies that are increasingly evolving in our sector without ever losing sight of the quality aspect that has always been our distinguishing feature.

Massimo  

TRANSLATOR  

The newest addition to our team and, for now, the only male member of the company. Massimo holds a degree in specialized translation and conference interpreting; despite his young age, he already has solid experience in international settings such as the European Court of Auditors, along with extensive knowledge of the latest artificial intelligence tools.
In addition to his regular translation and interpretation work, he is responsible for staying up to date on the latest technologies in the field to ensure that TRADUZIONI STR remains at the cutting edge.

Administration

Tamara 

ACCOUNTANT 

An accountant with a passion for foreign languages (all she lacks is a thesis for her degree in languages), she assists the sole director in administrative management, dealing with numerous suppliers and the equally numerous customers scattered throughout Italy and abroad. She is entrusted with solving problems related to the complex accounting and tax landscape that a company has to face nowadays, obviously assisted by our certified accountant.

Pets

Recent theories concerning wellness in the workplace claim that pets make the work atmosphere more peaceful and help reduce stress. Well, we have two of them:

 

Trudy 

 

Antonella's toy poodle, or rather, tiny toy, follows her around the office every day and is so small that she has a kennel on her desk. She is absolutely sociable and doesn't skimp on cuddles and tail wagging for any of the staff, let alone for animal-loving clients.

Otto 

 

Tamara's half-breed, practically her shadow since she adopted him, he is more introverted in character, but he too has found a home here at the office. He has his place or, rather, his kennel in his 'mummy's' office.
